A Birthday Card for Some Challenges

Well it is a bank holiday here in the UK so that is why it is raining and blowing a gale! Have not been crafting so much as I'd like recently mainly because I keep downloading new books to my Kindle!!

We are going out for a celebratory meal this evening as R. got great GCSE results and is off to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A level, not bad for a kid with Aspergers who I was told should be in a school for violent kids when he was 7 (ignored that and other crass, ill informed comments like you do as a parent of a child with SEN). S. will be off to University at the end of September to do a BSc in Accountancy (another Aspie, another fight against stupid people) and lastly M. will be going back to college to study a Foundation Degree in Applied Computing with Business Technology having had a couple of years away trying to decide what he wanted to do with his life. Have had lots of good support, which outweighed the bad, along the way so I think the fact that they are where they are is a credit to them and worthy of celebration.

It's my Goddaughter's birthday today, I remember we were in Newquay when we heard she's been born, doesn't seem 5 minutes, so here's her card which I'll be entering into a few challenges.
