Summer Holiday from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

It's that time of year, pack your bags and go and explore the world, well we can dream can't we. I bet there will be a few of these camper vans heading to Glastonbury this weekend but maybe not too many hankie hat wearing old folk!

I took the easy route this week and used the pre coloured Summer Holiday image, available HERE, you can find the black and white version HERE, I also used the great new set of papers, Curves and Corners, which can be found HERE.

Have a good weekend

Kraftin' Kimmie You Are Beautiful

Have been making a few cards for orders recently plus cards for occasions, such as Father's Day, so today, in amongst the paperwork that needed doing, I decided just to play and here's the result.

I have had this Kraftin Kimmie stamp for the You Are Beautiful set for a while now but hadn't got around to using any of them, I had also had these Chalkboard papers from Craftwork Cards for a while.

So one card complete and almost all of the paperwork done:

Best Seat In The House from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

You know how it is, man comes home from a tiring day at work, the dog greets man like a long lost friend at the door, he dashes off to find man his slippers and man settles down in his comfy armchair with the paper and his pipe!

Not anymore, man's dog has had a tiring day chasing his tail and running in his dreams, so man's dog gets comfy in the old armchair and man should be very, very grateful that his slippers haven't been chewed!

You can find Best Seat in the House HERE, don't forget it's Father's Day this Sunday and have a great weekend

Faldaree Deirdery at Dr Digi's House of Stamps

Oh, I love to go a-wandering
Along the mountain track
And as I go I love to sing
With a knapsack on my back

Faldaree, faldarah, faldaree, faldara-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
Falderee, falarah a knapsack on my back.

Faldaree Deirdery is setting off for a trek up a mountain, something she likes to do at the weekend, personally I am more into lies in, copious quantities of tea and a takeaway at the weekend! You can find Faldaree Deirdery HERE. Hope you have a good weekend, whatever you choose to do!

X Ray Raymond from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

Oh dearie me, Raymond has come a cropper, never one for taking things slowly, Raymond was on his space hopper, racing down the high street, when he accidently bounced onto a mattress, on display at the local bed shop, and catapulted himself straight into the display next door at the greengrocers. It was carnage aubergines, quince and squash went everywhere (Raymond lives in a posh area it has to be said). Never mind it looks like he has come away pretty unscathed.

You can find X Ray Raymond HERE along with lots of other fantastic digistamps. Hope you all have a good weekend

Hello Leatherface from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

The first time I saw one of Dr Digi's Hello Horror collection, I was slightly taken aback, I am not a lover of the horror genre but then, despite being a cat lover, I am not a fan of a certain white kitty with a red bow in her fur. Merge the two together and they have a certain charm that I find very entertaining and not a little endearing; I have been racking my brain for a while now as to how to use them! My 50th looms larger every day, 2017 can not come slowly enough for me, and this card describes how I felt on my recent 48th!

You can find Hello Leatherface HERE, plus 5 others in the color digis section HERE, if you want all 6 you can get them with a £2 reduction.

Hope you all have a good weekend, I am helping with a barbecue on Sunday at a dog show, just need to make sure none of the participants run away with the sausages!

Walkies by Dr Digi's House of Stamps

A few of us older UK residents may remember a 'wonderful' Sunday afternoon TV programme ( I think it was back when we had just the three channels, very deprived we were) featuring a certain lady called Barbara Woodhouse. A dog trainer, I don't know about dog trainer but she scared the living daylights out of me! The word 'Walkies' was drilled into my brain back then so much that when I hear the word I shudder. However Dr Digi has started to reverse that effect on me with this wonderful image featuring Daisy Bumblethorpe being walked by her dog. I am currently looking after my Mum and Dad's dog, he's getting on a bit now, but he still bounds in a geriatric fashion to the door when I come in, tongue lolling.

You can find Walkies HERE, and these fabulous backing papers called Polos HERE, the base layer of the card reminds me of my parents wallpaper back in the day when I was being scared by Barbara W! Hope you all have a good weekend, a bank holiday here.
