Walkies by Dr Digi's House of Stamps

A few of us older UK residents may remember a 'wonderful' Sunday afternoon TV programme ( I think it was back when we had just the three channels, very deprived we were) featuring a certain lady called Barbara Woodhouse. A dog trainer, I don't know about dog trainer but she scared the living daylights out of me! The word 'Walkies' was drilled into my brain back then so much that when I hear the word I shudder. However Dr Digi has started to reverse that effect on me with this wonderful image featuring Daisy Bumblethorpe being walked by her dog. I am currently looking after my Mum and Dad's dog, he's getting on a bit now, but he still bounds in a geriatric fashion to the door when I come in, tongue lolling.

You can find Walkies HERE, and these fabulous backing papers called Polos HERE, the base layer of the card reminds me of my parents wallpaper back in the day when I was being scared by Barbara W! Hope you all have a good weekend, a bank holiday here.

A Wedding Card

My friend Ruth got married to James last week, their love blossomed at Weight Watchers, she has been nuts about ladybirds for as long as I have known her so they had to feature on her card. Had a lovely time at the evening reception, danced my feet off.

Her new husband is nuts about lego and Star Wars, their cake was a sight to behold.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Sister Act Challenge- Anything Goes
Creative Corner Challenges- Spring is in the Air
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge-Things with Wings

Barry Big Wheel from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

It seems like ages since I have posted anything, it's exam season for my two youngest and I seem to have been doing a lot of toing and froing from either Salford Uni or Edge Hill Uni, I am just a glorified chauffeur after all.

Summer's coming, time to get the bikes out, Barry Big Wheel here is all set with his trike, bright and shiny, ready to investigate out and about, well up and down the street anyway! Our street has lots of little cyclists, luckily the road is quiet so all they need is an adult to shout 'CAR!' now and again and they are free to roam.

You can find Barry Big Wheel HERE with lots of other digis to grab your attention. Hope you have a good weekend

Grumpy Monkey from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

Well he shouldn't be grumpy because it's Friday and the weekend but we all have that curmudgeonly person in our lives! Grumpy Monkey is just in need of some bananas or even better some banana cake, then he'd be a happy monkey swinging through the trees! Maybe he will get that on his birthday!

You can find Grumpy Monkey HERE, one of Dr D's £1 bargains, and the most excellent sentiment HERE, have a good weekend, eat as much banana cake or any other cake as you can!

Green Fingers and Thumbs from Dr Digi

It's the time of year to start coaxing those seedlings  and giving them ideas of what they shall become, in this case a large marrow or a very fat cucumber! We used to have marrow a fair bit as a kid, but I never see it these days, mind you I don't go anywhere near allotments so that might be why! I'll have to ask the person this card is for! For a 50th I would usually go mad on the sarcasm on the front of the card but being the nice best friend I am, I couldn't do that. Nope........ I saved all the sarcasm and rudeness for the inside of the card!

You can find Green Fingers and Thumbs HERE.

Biffo from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

It's the weekend in just a few hours, you'd think Biffo would look a little more cheerful, although Biffo has been around for a few years now and the prospect of children's parties full of noise and e numbers does not fill him with great enthusiasm, he'd rather be down the pub with a pint watching the football!

You can find the cheerful Biffo (Colour) HERE, his black and white counterpart HERE and the top part of the sentiment HERE. I also used X Cut Balloon Dies plus some random water balloons from a drawer in the kitchen!!

Baking Brian from Dr Digi's House of Stamps

What a beautiful day it is here and what a beautiful cake Brian has baked, he can cook in my kitchen anytime he likes if those are the cakes that will appear! Mind you it needs to be tall to take all the candles that would be needed for my upcoming birthday!

You can find Baking Brian HERE or Brian's fabulous cake HERE, one of Dr D's wonderful £1 digis.
